Worship at Calvary: July 26

Worship Notes: The first three songs praised God as our King. We started with a musical call to worship, inviting the congregation to celebrate our Risen King, followed by a scripture call to worship.

Call to Worship
Come People of the Risen King

Scripture:
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power
And the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
For everything in heaven and earth is Yours.
We give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name!
Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as Head over all!
Wealth and honor come from You; You are the ruler of all things.
We give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name!
In Your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.
Now, our God, we give You thanks, and praise Your glorious name!
From 1 Chronicles 29:11-13

Come Thou Almighty King

Offering (Baloche)

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
1 John 3:1-3

How Deep the Father’s Love For Us

Jesus Paid It All

Worship at the Lord’s Table

Sermon: John 4:35, Lift Up Your Eyes and See
